Salina

Salina grew up in Hawaii and is a 3rd generation hula dancer.  For the past 3 years she has been teaching recreational Hula and Tahitian.  Focus is on building a good foundation with basic traditional movements, learning choreographed numbers, appreciation of Polynesian culture and having fun!

Hula is low impact and gentle on joints, appropriate for all fitness levels.  Tahitian is more cardio taxing, so be prepared to really use your core and sweat in this class! On hula songs, we also go into Hawaiian vocabulary and meaning / context of the mele (song).  All levels welcome.

We perform often at local events and private functions so if you are looking for performance experience you will have that opportunity.  Call first to arrange your first class.
