The Farhannah Dancers were founded in 1997 by Bahijah and are now under the new direction of Rona. The Farhannah Dancers are a professional dance troupe based in Gainesville; they perform together throughout the southeastern U.S.. Farhannah Dancers are always on the cutting edge, captivating audiences with their innovative and dynamic choreographies. Their dances range anywhere from traditional Belly Dance, to Bollywood, to fusions that blend aspects of modern, African, pop and Indian dance. Farhannah Dancers perform at weddings, restaurants, parties, festivals, benefits and belly dance seminars. "Farhannah" means joy, and describes how we feel dancing together. This transcends into the audience making a performance by Farhannah a joy for all!
